1 — The short version
This site is a solo portfolio. It does not sell products, does not run advertising, does not set tracking cookies, and does not share data with third parties. The only personal information it ever handles is what you voluntarily type into the contact form.
2 — What the contact form collects
When you send a message via the contact form, the following is transmitted to the site owner:
- Your name, email, subject and message.
- Your IP address, recorded server-side for spam mitigation.
- The timestamp of the submission.
Nothing else is collected from you passively — no analytics tags, no pixel trackers, no session cookies.
3 — How the data is used
Messages are delivered by email to lukasz@centraspec.com so the site owner can reply. That is the only purpose. Your details are never added to a marketing list, never sold, and never shared with a third party.
4 — Retention
Received messages live in the recipient's personal mailbox for as long as the correspondence is relevant, then are deleted. You can request deletion at any time by emailing lukasz@centraspec.com.
5 — Hosting & infrastructure
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. and served over HTTPS. Hostinger may retain standard server request logs (IP, user agent, URL, timestamp) for a short period for security, abuse prevention and billing purposes under their own privacy policy. This site itself does not process those logs.
6 — Visitors outside the UK
The site is globally accessible. If you are located outside the United Kingdom — including in the United States, the European Economic Area, or elsewhere — your submission will be transmitted to the UK, where the recipient mailbox is based. The same handling rules described above apply regardless of your location.
US visitors (CCPA / CPRA). This site does not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, does not use cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not knowingly collect information from minors. California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about them by emailing lukasz@centraspec.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7 — Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of any personal data about you that this site holds, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email lukasz@centraspec.com. If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local EU Member State data protection authority.
